Nadine Williams, a native of St. Mary Parish, Jamaica, is an Award Winning Poet-Author-Artist in Education. She credits her success to the humble beginnings of reading under the kerosene lamplight to her family as a child, coupled with being reared by witty grandparents who spoke in proverbs all the time.

NADINE WILLIAMS

Currently she calls Brampton, Ontario home along with her three children. In 2008, she successfully self-published her first book and has gone on to publish 4 other books and ten Black History Posters since. She has been actively engaged in readings as well as Guest Lecturer at Universities and many noteworthy events locally and internationally. She counts opening for Mrs. Obama and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau among her most memorable readings. Spend a riveting hour with The Poet, Nadine Williams as she shares her journey as an immigrant woman in Canada. Her awe-inspiring tale of tears to ink will energize and mobilize you to pursue your passions despite hardships.
