MAC-CAM will host an in-person community consultation as part of the development of our Strategic Plan. This gathering will bring together artists, Elders, partners, board members, and community stakeholders to discuss emerging needs within newcomer, Indigenous, Black, and equity-deserving arts communities.
Insights shared will help inform MAC-CAM’s next phase of growth, including strengthening our governance and operations, introducing a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework, and advancing accessible platforms and economic opportunities for marginalized artists. Together, these conversations will help shape the next chapter of artist-led, community-driven cultural development in the National Capital Region.
