Radha Sundram (Suman)
Radha Sundram (Suman) completed her 5-year Fine Arts degree at the Delhi College of Arts, one of the most prestigious art institutes in India. She was a founding member of the ‘Group 8’ collective of artists in India. Her paintings have been exhibited at various public and private galleries in the country, as well as in Art Fairs. Her works are in prestigious collections including the Delhi Governor’s and the National Gallery of Arts.
She has recently divided her time between Ottawa, London, and Delhi and immigrated to Canada in 2018. She has lived in Ottawa since then, and has shown her works at a juried show at Shenkman Arts Centre, twice at the Ottawa City Hall, and at the 2019 Expressions of Art show.
Suman has undertaken commissioned works for the World Wildlife Fund and the United Nations Development Fund among others. She received the All India Fine Arts and Crafts (AIFACS) award for her work in printmaking.
