Obasola Bamigbola is a lens-based visual storyteller whose work explores African spirituality, beliefs, culture, and social narratives.
His works have been exhibited at distinguished venues, including the John & June Allcott Gallery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA), Hong Kong Baptist University, Noorderlicht International Photo Festival (Netherlands), Photo Vogue Festival (Italy), Kunsthaus Göttingen (Germany), Rencontres de Bamako (Mali), and Abuja International Photo Festival (Nigeria), among others.
An alumnus of FotoFactory.Lagos and the NLELE Institute in Nigeria, Obasola honed his craft under the esteemed mentorship of a visual storytelling approach. He is also a member of the Ottawa Black Art Kollective, contributing to the vibrant artistic discourse within the Black creative community.
