Sahar Shabahangpour

Sahar studied art at the Isfahan Fine Arts Institute for four years, one of Iran’s most prestigious art schools, attended by many of the country’s most renowned painters. One of her specialties is mural painting, both decorative and artistic. Her training covered a wide range of disciplines, including drawing, design, graphic design, colour theory, perspective, anatomy, and painting styles such as realism, cubism, and abstract art.

With over 20 years of painting experience, she has participated in several exhibitions in Ottawa, including at the Shenkman Arts Centre and other galleries. She has also been teaching painting for the past five years, supporting students of different skill levels in developing their creativity and technical abilities.
