Teanna Chase

Teanna Chase is a mixed-media artist based in Ottawa, Canada.  Though she has an affinity for watercolour, her work also features acrylic, ink, and oil pastels.  An avid block-printer on the side, she draws on her Indo- and Afro-Caribbean roots with various textiles and designs.  Her work also includes handmade dyes when possible, another nod to her heritage.  She has participated in several artistic performances in Ottawa, and enjoys volunteering for children’s arts programs in her spare time. She believes that art is essential and should be available to all, regardless of background, age, or ethnicity.
