In its second year, the Women+ Art Festival will celebrate and showcase immigrant, refugee, Indigenous, and racialized women + artists living in the National Capital Region. This combination of in-person and online festival will feature a 2-week visual art exhibition as well as an evening of music, dance, and storytelling performances. The performances will be streamed on YouTube Live from the Richcraft Theatre on Sunday September 12th at 2 pm and the Art Exhibition will be installed at La-Lande + Doyle Exhibition Space, both located at the Shenkman Arts Centre from September 7th to the 17th.

Bonita Eloise
Bonita is the author of the book “Embers of Hope: Embracing Life in an Age of Ecological Destruction and Climate Chaos.”

Gloria Guns
Gloria Guns is an experimental multi-instrumental artist based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada with over fifteen years of experience in performing live music.

Hea R. Kim
Hea R. Kim is a South Korean-born Canadian immigrant and multidisciplinary artist who
is interested in creating playful, thoughtful, and technically sophisticated installations.

Radha Sundram (Suman)
Radha Sundram (Suman) is a visual artist from New Delhi now based in Ottawa.

Lubna Mousa
Lubna Mousa is a visual artist currently based in Ottawa, Ontario. In her artworks, Mousa reflects her thoughts and images in layers using mixed media.

Sridaya Srivatsan
Sridaya Srivatsan is a specialized Indian classical dancer in the style of Bharatanatyam.
